Relax and unwind in this unique loft apartment in a rustic house in downtown Toronto! My cat Rikki will be with you also. This space is perfect for anyone looking for a comfy place to stay while exploring what Toronto has to offer. Steps to University of Toronto + Kensington Market. Just north of the entertainment district, 15-min walk to Eaton Centre, 5-min walk to major subway line and University Health Network hospitals. Perfect for couples or single travellers alike!
Let me welcome you to my unique loft apartment in a house in Baldwin Village! I’m steps to Kensington Market, U of T, AGO, and so much more. Visit for a few days or a few weeks! Occasionally when I list the space my cat Rikki will be sharing the space with you. Currently he will be home all available dates! He’s very friendly and playful but also likes to keep to himself.
What makes the space unique is the loft spans the main floor and basement of a middle apartment in the house and although many of the main living spaces are actually in a basement, the bright coloured walls and light that pours in through the large windows and open staircase makes the loft feel like home. Don’t let the unassuming front facade fool you, it’s a very comforting and inviting space.
When you enter the apartment you’re greeted by a small entryway that leads up to the kitchen/eating area found on the loft main floor. Take a couple steps down into the feel of a sunken living room with views of the lofty ceiling and large windows that frame the front door that is also home to a desk for working. Off the living room is the bedroom that can accommodate up to two people comfortably in a queen-sized bed as well as some books to peruse and a space to keep your things on a luggage rack.
You are welcome to cook in my fully equipped kitchen, do your laundry, and enjoy the TV and Internet on your down time. When you’re ready to explore, you’ll be in walking distance of almost everything, or just steps from the city’s bike share program!

While I am just starting out, I’m thankful to have the help of my brilliant co-host Kylie who has been a Superhost on Airbnb for over a year now. Her and I take being a good host seriously, and I am a proud “Hostfully Host”. This means when you stay with me, I will send you a Hostfully guidebook link. The guidebook contains all the essential information about my home, as well as recommendations all over the city. It’s easy to navigate, and if you are out and about, you can access it from your phone.
It’s a privilege to be able to lend my personal apartment with you while I am away, so you’ll have access to everything!
Since I list my apartment while I’m away or traveling, I won’t be able to meet you in person. My co-host Kylie lives in the apartment next door to mine and will be able to help you with anything you might need so just send her a message. I will also provide you with an extensive guide to help answer any questions you may have and provide a list of recommendations!
I’m in Baldwin Village! It’s small, quaint, and home to the infamous Baldwin Street that is home to several restaurants that offer everything from Sushi to Mexican! The Cafe there has the best breakfast sausages in the city. We’re also right next to Kensington Market. It’s an amazing neighbourhood with great restaurants and local food stores.
My apartment is conveniently located in the centre of the city and is just a 15-20 min walk to most major attractions and destinations.
You would be in walking distance to:
University of Toronto
Kensington Market
University Health Network Hospitals
AGO
Entertainment District
Eaton Centre
Dundas Square
ROM
Queen West
Annex
Little Italy
Much more!
You will have easy walking and transit access to all of downtown Toronto. The College Street Car (LRT) is just up the street and connects to the yellow University Subway Line to Union Station. It’s a 5 min walk to the closest subway station, the Spadina Street Car and the Dundas Street Car.
You can get to my apartment very easily by public transport from all the major travel routes.
Trip Duration:
Union Station: 5 min drive, 15 min public transport
Billy Bishop Airport: 5 min drive, 20 min public transport
Pearson Airport: 25 min drive, 1 hr public transport
We are LGBTQ friendly!
I also have a cat named Rikki. If you are planning to stay between June 20-23, Rikki will be living in the home at the same time. There’s no need to feed him or change his litter, but I will have people coming to take care of those things if you’re staying for longer than a few days.
Otherwise, Rikki won’t be in the apartment during your stay and I will clean as much of the space as I can of his fur, but something to keep in mind if you’re allergic to cats.
